Oakmoss: As its name suggests, oakmoss grows on the branches and trunks of oak trees. It is one of the most commonly used raw materials in popular chypre and fougère types of fragrances. Often used as a fixative, oak moss not only improves the longevity of the scent but also lends an earthy, damp forest-like aroma to our essential oil blend. This may be considered a traditional men's scent, but women are wild about it too. Bathe in the sultry richness of oak moss with this super smooth green bar! 

Dandelion: Often maligned as an invasive weed, dandelions are rich in antioxidants that provide nourishing benefits for the skin. Scented with a calming palo santo essential oil blend, our newest Dandelion Soap may reduce feelings of anxiety and help brighten your mood.

Desert Sage: The sharp fresh aroma of sage leaps out of this invigorating bar, while Living Clay® (calcium bentonite clay) provides extra cleansing power. 

Horsemint: Enriched with wild horsemint (one of our native wildflowers) and scented with an energizing mint and tea tree essential oil blend, this refreshing bar is a real eye opener! Great for summer time or anytime you need a little boost. 

Honey Oat: We've added moisturizing goat's milk and local honey to our soothing fragrance free oatmeal soap for a wholesome bar that's super gentle and mild. Even though there are no essential oils or added scents, this bar smells like fresh warm honey. Recommended for older babies (but not tear free!), super sensitive skin, itchy skin, and dry skin. Makes a lovely facial bar and is a nice shampoo bar too.

Wildflower: Our beautiful Wildflower Soap contains colorful shreds of many different soaps (we call it soapourri) scented with a floral rose geranium essential oil blend. 3.5 oz. boxed bar.  NOTE: If you're allergic to something please contact A Wild Soap Bar to ask if this soap contains it because the soap shreds used can be somewhat random and they may change slightly from time to time.

Prickly Pear: Skin loving prickly pear cactus teams up with soothing aloe vera to enrich this exfoliating bar, scented with an energizing rosemary mint essential oil blend that will drive you wild! 

Sweetgrass: Our Sweetgrass Soap is infused with sacred sweetgrass braids which were traditionally used by Native Americans for smudging and purifying ceremonies. The sweet grassy scent with bold undertones of vanilla and a hint of spice is both grounding and uplifting.

Chaparral Shampoo & Body Bar: Packed with antifungal & antimicrobial chaparral, our rub-it-all-over shampoo & body bar appeals to those who like the fresh clean scent of the desert Southwest after a drenching rain. There's no added scent so this bar is more lightly scented than most of our bars, but it smells exactly like the desert plant it's named for. To shampoo, just rub the bar over your wet hair a few times, put it down, and then work up a lather as you would with regular shampoo. Your hair will feel differently than when you shampooed with synthetic products, so give yourself a week or so to adjust. Follow up with our optional natural hair rinse (below) for soft, shiny hair. This homemade rinse removes buildup left by hard water and it will also help relieve an itchy scalp. 

Yucca Root Shampoo & Body Bar: Featuring a germ-busting tea tree essential oil blend, this wildly popular all-over shampoo & body bar is for those who like to keep it simple. After cleansing your body, just rub the bar over your wet hair a few times, put it down, and then work up a lather as you would with regular shampoo. Your hair will feel differently than when you shampooed with synthetic products, so give yourself a week or so to adjust. Follow up with our optional natural hair rinse (below) for soft, shiny hair. This homemade rinse removes soap & mineral buildup left by hard water and it will also help relieve an itchy scalp.

NOTE: Natural colorants are powerful! We recommend using a dark colored wash cloth with this bar.

{Natural Hair Rinse
2 TBS apple cider vinegar OR 2 TBS fresh lemon juice
1 C distilled water
3-4 drops total of your favorite essential oil/s (optional)

Combine all ingredients in a clean squeeze bottle. SHAKE WELL BEFORE EACH USE & massage a small amount into hair and scalp after shampooing. Rinse briefly with cool water or you can also leave this rinse in your hair if you'd like. The vinegar smell will dissipate as your hair dries.}
