Join Sarah Filzen from Healium Yoga and Kyle Denton from Tippecanoe Herbs for a special afternoon of yoga and herbal tea! Saturday November 4th, 1:00-4:15 pm at Healium Restore and Tippecanoe Herbs (located across KK Avenue from Healium Restore).
In Ayurveda (the science of life, sister science to yoga) Autumn marks the beginning of Vata Season: the air is crisp and dry and we begin to prepare for the long, cold winter. It is a time to begin turning inwards, cultivating internal warmth and nourishment.
On Saturday November 4th we will meet at Healium Restore for a 90 minute yoga asana class, led by Sarah, which will focus on poses and breathing techniques meant to be grounding, warming and in-turning. We will then walk across the street to Tippecanoe Herbs to continue class with a tea flow with Kyle. With a focus on integrating the lessons of grounding the mind and preparing the body for winter, participants will be led through plant meditations with various herbal tea tastings. Those attending will then blend their own tea blend to take home and continue the flow. Students will also receive a 10% discount on any items at Tippecanoe Herbs purchased that day.
*Please Note : if less than 8 persons are enrolled, class will be canceled and refunded.
Please Note : Events MUST be cancelled 24 hours in advance to receive credit or refund.
